Every game of Pentaword starts with a clean slate and a concealed five-letter mystery word. You have six attempts to guess it, and with each entry, the tiles shift color to reveal your progress:

Green means the letter is correct and in the right spot
Yellow means the letter is in the word, but in the wrong place
Gray means the letter is not in the word at all

You can click the virtual keyboard or type directly on your device. Press Enter to lock in a guess, and Backspace to make corrections. The real fun comes in deciphering patterns and making your guesses count—every letter matters.
